Animated Inchworm Sig Tag
Tutorial
Written for PSP7

Open the attached .gif in Animation Shop
You'll notice that the animation has 41 frames.

Click on File, New and create a new animation 500 x 500 with a white background:

Click on the copy icon

Press SHIFT+CTRL+L 40 times so that your new/blank animation has 41 frames.

Open PSP.
Click on File, New and create a new 500 x 500 transparent image.

Click on your text tool and type in the name you want to use on your sig tag.
These are the settings that I used:
Font Name:  PC Beach Front
Size:  36
Style Stroke Color #E65A0E
Style Fill Color #FDCBA7
Create as a Vector and antialias checked

Click on Layers, Convert to Raster Layer.

I added a drop shadow to my text using the settings below because the inchworm animation has a shadow:
Vertical & Horizontal = 3
Opacity = 80
Blur = 6
Color = Black

When you are done getting your text like you want it, click on the Copy icon.

Go back to Animation Shop.

Click on the Paste as New Animation icon

Now you are ready to put your sig tag together in Animation Shop.

Click on the Propogate Paste icon to select it.

Click on your text animation to make it active if it isn't already and click on the copy icon.

Click on the first frame of your blank animation and click on Edit, Select all.

Click on Edit again, then click on Paste, Into Selected Frame.
Your text will appear in the first frame of your blank animation, hovering at the end of your cursor.  Move the text so that it's positioned in the center, then left click your mouse to "park" the text.  Your text should now appear in every frame of the blank animation.

Now click on the first frame of the inchworm animation.
Click on Edit, Select All.
Click on the Copy icon.
Click on the first frame of the new animation (the one with your name in all 41 frames) and click on Edit, Select All.
Click on Edit, Paste, Into Selected Frame.  The head of the inchworm appears on the first frame, hovering at the end of your cursor.
Place the inchworm where you want it to start on the text.  For my name, Jennifer, the inchworm will not stretch across the whole name, so I placed it so that it appears to be coming out from behind the first N.

If you don't like where you've placed the worm, simply press CTRL+Z to undo and try again.

Once you have the worm where you want it, all that's left to do is crop the animation down and you're done!

Any similarities with any other tutorial is purely coincidental.
I did not make the inchworm animation used in this tutorial and do not claim to have made it!
